On this day in history...
On February 23, 1455, Johannes Gutenberg is traditionally believed to have published the Gutenberg Bible in Mainz, Germany, marking a pivotal moment in Western history as the first major book printed using mass-produced movable metal type. This 42-line Bible revolutionized book production and facilitated the rapid spread of knowledge, triggering an information revolution and weakening the monopoly on knowledge held by the Church, enabling the Renaissance and Reformation.

Holy Provisions Free Community Food Market will be partnering with United Way of Broward to provide a pop-up food distribution at St. Nicholas. We will need a few volunteers starting around 9:00 or 10:00 to help bag food and place it in vehicles. Some volunteers will also be provided by United Way to help. For more details:

| Written by Sr. Monica Clair, recently featured here on eNews, the 2026 meditations offer an invitation to rediscover—or deepen—holy habits of prayer, worship and engagement with Scripture. These "holy habits" provide a path to a life that is given shape, meaning and direction by being rooted in a deeper relationship with God.
